While families receive outstanding medical treatment at the Queensland Children’s Hospital, they need so much more help as they embark on the treatment journey ahead.
Many critical support services for regional and rural families such as family accommodation and transport to and from accommodation to the hospital are not provided by either state or federal government. That’s where Childhood Cancer Support steps in. Since 1975, it has been our mission to provide practical, hands-on support and accommodation for regional children with cancer and their families.
Importantly, Childhood Cancer Support provides a qualified Family Social Worker on-site to provide emotional and practical support to each member of the oncology family. Childhood Cancer Support is your helping hand at a time when you need it most. That’s why we’re here.
