Michael Tizard is the current CEO of Crèche and Kindergarten Association Ltd (C&K), Queensland’s largest provider of early childhood education and care. He joined C&K in August 2013 after more than 30 years’ experience as a Social Worker in statutory child protection, disability, family support, parenting and early childhood education and care. He has worked in senior management and executive roles in government and non-government organisations in Victoria, NSW and Queensland.

Michael has previously served on the Boards of the Children’s Welfare Association of Victoria, Peak Care Queensland, Families Australia, and is a current Board member of the Child and Family Welfare Association of Australia Inc.

Throughout his career Michael has remained committed and focused on the safety, health and well being of children and supporting parents to do the very best they can.
